Nepal-based startup Yatri Motorcycles has leveraged Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud to accelerate product development and scale sustainable electric mobility solutions.
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform helped Yatri cut the development time for its P2 electric scooter’s Minimum Viable Product (MVP) from 12 months to just 7 months. By integrating tools like SIMULIA Abaqus and fe-safe, the company was able to simulate fatigue and structural performance early in the design process. This simulation-led approach not only reduced the need for physical prototypes but also led to significant cost and time savings, supporting a faster go-to-market strategy.
Yatri Motorcycles required a scalable and collaborative solution to streamline its product lifecycle management. The cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform delivered just that—offering real-time collaboration, seamless integration, and a unified environment for design, simulation, and manufacturing.
“Our mission goes beyond building electric motorcycles. We are building an ecosystem around sustainable mobility. Dassault Systèmes’ platform has enabled us to bring premium EVs to market faster, with smarter design and fewer prototypes,” said Ashim Pandey, CEO of Yatri Motorcycles.
“Yatri Motorcycles is a shining example of how startups in emerging economies can use virtual twin technology to lead innovation. Our platform gives them the flexibility and power to collaborate and design efficiently,” added Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes.
As Nepal’s first premium EV manufacturer, Yatri is leading the transition to a cleaner, smarter future by reimagining urban mobility through technology, performance, and sustainability. This partnership highlights how cloud-enabled simulation tools are empowering electric vehicle startups to innovate rapidly and scale with precision.
